11" x 100 yd roll of H&V Tearaway / Washaway Stabilizer 2 oz

This unique 2 oz product tears exceptionally well in both directions and has superior stability. When laundered, the remaining backing surrounding the embroidery washes away, leaving a clean design and yet the stitches remain firmly locked. This tear away stabilizer is ideal for airy, open work type embroidery designs on light cottons and linen. It's unique because it is made up of half soluble and half non-soluble fibers. By wetting the design once it is completed, the stabilizer is easily torn away without distorting stitches or harming the delicate fibers of heirloom quality fabrics. The design will retain the non-soluble part of the stabilizer throughout the life of the garment keeping the embroidery looking smooth. Any remnants of the stabilizer around the design will wash out in the laundry. Please note: this stabilizer does not completetly dissolve, therefore is not reccomended for lace designs or to be used as a topping. Perfect for baby blankets, towels, Appliqué, golf towels and much more. If you are going to use just one tearaway, this is the one.
